Import Export Code (IEC) is a mandatory business identification number required for individuals and companies engaged in international trade in India. • Bank Certificate or Cancelled Cheque of the business account

The IEC registration process is completely online and consists of the following steps:
1. Visit the DGFT Website
Go to the official DGFT portal and select the “Apply for IEC” option.
2. Create a Login ID
Register using a valid email ID and mobile number to generate login credentials.
3. Fill the IEC Application (Form ANF-2A)
Enter details such as business name, PAN number, address, bank details, and business activity.
4. Upload Required Documents
Attach scanned copies of PAN, Aadhaar, business registration proof, and bank details.
5. Pay the Registration Fee
Submit the government fee (as prescribed by DGFT) through an online payment mode.
6. Application Verification and Approval
DGFT reviews the application, and upon successful verification, the IEC certificate is issued.
7. Receive IEC Certificate
The IEC certificate is provided digitally and can be downloaded from the DGFT portal.
