FSSAI (Food Safety and Standards Authority of India) registration is mandatory for all food businesses operating in India. The following documents are required for FSSAI registration:
For Basic Registration:
• Aadhaar Card of the business owner

For State & Central Licenses:
• Company Incorporation Certificate or Partnership Deed
• PAN Card of the business entity
• GST Certificate (if applicable)
• Business premises ownership or rental proof

• Water test report (for manufacturers)
• NOC from municipality or local authority
The FSSAI registration process is conducted online and involves the following steps:
1. Determine License Type
Identify whether the business requires a Basic Registration, State License, or Central License based on turnover and scale.
2. Create an Account on the FSSAI Portal
Register on the Food Licensing & Registration System (FLRS/FoSCoS) portal.
3. Fill Out the Application (Form A or Form B)
